“Samantha’s journey from her Southside Chicago neighborhood to becoming a young entrepreneur and student-athlete is one of determination and community spirit. Alongside her studies and sports, she founded Embracing Village Hood Baby’s (EVHB) and organized events, training camps, and tournaments, donating essential equipment and food to her community. Samantha’s dedication earned her a spot on the Belize National Team, and she’s now preparing to represent Belize in the upcoming Volleyball Nationals in 2023. With the support of her village, Samantha aims to uplift underprivileged youth and help their dreams come true.”
